Ofcom issues Hum News broadcasting licence, signaling UK return

Ofcom has reissued a UK broadcasting licence to Hum News, signalling what could be a return for the Pakistani news broadcaster.

Although Hum Network has remained tight-lipped about its intentions, rumours are circulating that the channel may be preparing a comeback on Sky.

Hum News originally launched in the UK in July 2018, before the decision was taken to close the linear service in March 2021.
