Pakistani entertainment channel Noor TV has begun testing ahead of its official Sky Digital launch.

As confirmed earlier on BizAsia.co.uk, Noor TV will go live on Monday 1st October after being delayed on one occasion previously.

Noor TV has changed its programming focus from being Islamic religious centric to a complete “family entertainment channel.” Shows will consist of historical, educational, showbiz and debates.

Noor TV will broadcast from Aston in Birmingham.

Full video and audio testing can be tuned in by following the steps below:

-> Using your Sky Digi remote, go to Services Menu

-> System Setup (4)

-> Add Channels (4)

-> Enter the frequency: 12.643 (H), FEC 2/3, Symbol Rate 27500

-> Find Channels and Press SELECT

-> Highlight “54203” service and press Yellow button.

-> Return to Services Menu

-> Other Channels (6) on STB / (8) on Sky+

-> “54203” should be listed and available
