No Shahid Kapoor or Manish Paul in ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9’?

BizAsia reported a few days ago that Jacqueline Fernandez may be replacing Malaika Arora Khan as judge on the upcoming season of ‘Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa’. Now, reports suggest that Shahid Kapoor and Manish Paul may have also pulled out due to their respective commitments.

It’s being said that Kapoor may not return on the judging panel for this season. A source spoke to Bollywood Life and revealed, “There is only a 10 per cent chance of his judging the show this time. The ratings of the last season were not encouraging. Also, he and the creatives were often not on the same page, and it created some problems on the sets”.

The source also added about Paul perhaps not hosting this time round, “Once he wraps up the shoot of Baa Baa Black Sheep he will have to start prepping for Jatt & Juliet 2 remake, which has him playing a hard-core Punjabi. So, he will not have the time to host Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa.”

It remains to be seen who will join Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde in this upcoming season.
