No evidence found in Aryan Khan’s drugs conspiracy as SIT continues investigation

According to reports, there is no evidence that Aryan Khan, son of Shah Rukh Khan, was involved in a larger drugs conspiracy following his arrest on on the yacht Cordelia during a short while back.

Sameer Wankhedem, the zonal director of the NCB who led the raid leading to Aryan’s arrest, said, “First of all 2 courts had rejected the bail so we cannot say the action was wrong as the matter is subjudice. The SIT formed had the task to look into the corruption angle not the merits of the case. That’s for the courts to decide. Thirdly the zonal director is not the authority to decide the arrest.”

Key findings of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) format declared that Aryan was never in possession of drugs, hence there was no need to take his phone and check his chats. His WhatsApp chats also do not suggest that he was part of any international drugs syndicate, reports Box Office Worldwide.

The raid on the yacht was also not video recorded as mandated by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) manual. Wankhede himself has been examined multiple times, both by the SIT and the agency’s vigilance team.

The SIT probe is still ongoing and could take some months to submits its final report to NCB Director General S N Pradhan.
