Neeraj Pandey files defamation case

Recently, there were reports that Neeraj Pandey was thrown out of theatres due to refusing to stand up when the Indian national anthem came on. However, it was apparently a journalist’s error in the matter who reported Pandey’s name instead of the 26-year-old that it actually was.

According to Box Office India, Pandey has, therefore, sent legal notices to a number of media publications for not amending their stories when the real story was revealed.

It seems Pandey’s team got in touch with publications but the necessary changes weren’t made so he has therefore filed cases of defamation against them.
