Nargis Fakhri dropped from ‘Khiladi 786’

Bollywood newbie Nargis Fakhri has been dropped from Himesh Reshammiya and Akshay Kumar’s co-production ‘Khiladi 786’.

It is reported that she did not suit the role of Mithun Chakraborty’s sister in the film. Initially, she was signed to star alongside Amitabh Bachchan who opted out due to health and date problems.

‘Khiladi 786’ sees Chakraborty play the role of a gangster and producers felt Fakhri would look too sophisticated to play the role of a gangster’s sister. A replacement will be announced soon.

Paresh Rawal and Himesh Reshammiya play Gujarati characters of Champak Lal and Mansukh and Akshay Kumar plays a Punjabi lad. ‘Khiladi 786’ goes on the floors next month and releases this Diwali.
