Mahesh Bhatt in favour of freedom of expression

The Central Board of Film certification will be going through a revamp after facing much controversy lately.��Filmmaker Shyam Benegal will be heading the committee in charge of this revamp, and director��Mahesh Bhatt says that one shouldn’t be scared to raise their voice in all this.

As according to the Indian Express, Bhatt said, “You will have to fight because there will be pressure from the government…whoever comes into power. You will get threats to curb your voice but you shouldn’t be afraid because India’s Constitution has given you the right to freedom of expression.”

Mahesh Bhatt’s last production was Emraan Hashmi and Vidya Balan’s ‘Hamari Adhuri Kahani’ (2015).
