Luv Ranjan to re-commence shoot for Shraddha-Ranbir film from 20th June?

The third schedule of Luv Ranjan’s untitled rom-com starring Shraddha Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor was due to commence in May, but was later put on hold amid the current coronavirus restrictions. It’s now understood the director has set a new date.

Reported on Mid-day, Ranjan is believed to have rescheduled the filming to start from 20th June depending on lockdown restrictions, “The upcoming schedule is important as Luv intends to film the emotional scenes, featuring the leads, and Dimple Kapadia and Boney Kapoor who play Ranbir’s parents. After the schedule was cancelled due to the lockdowns in Noida and Mumbai, Luv and co-producer Ankur Garg went back to the drawing board and reworked everyone’s dates. The June leg will be conducted in either Delhi or Uttar Pradesh, depending on where the restrictions are lifted as they require live locations,” a close source revealed.

The source went on to add that once the team wrap up in India they plan to head to Spain for the remainder of the shoot, “Spain forms the backdrop for a small portion of the rom-com. For now, they are planning to head to the European country in September. The team wants to wrap up all the scenes on home turf first, and then head abroad, depending on how the situation unfolds in Spain.”

The film is slated for a March 2022 release.
