Laxman Utekar set to reunite ‘Luka Chuppi’ duo Kartik Aaryan & Kriti Sanon
Following the tremendous success of ‘Chhaava’, Laxman Utekar is set to reunite with Kartik Aaryan and Kriti Sanon for his next project. The trio previously collaborated on Utekar’s debut Hindi directorial, ‘Luka Chuppi’ (2019).
The upcoming film, described as an “intense love story,” will be produced by Dinesh Vijan under his banner, Maddock Films.
A source revealed to Mid-Day, “The story is currently in development. It carries the essence of hinterland India, a signature style of Laxman, but this time he delves into a more intense and layered subject, unlike ‘Luka Chuppi’, which offered a light-hearted take on live-in relationships.”

The source further shared, “Scheduling could pose a challenge. If everything aligns, the project might go on floors early next year. A final decision is expected after August, once the script is fully developed.”
