Lawrence Bishnoi gang claims responsibility for assassination attempt on Tiger Shroff
Tiger Shroff was reportedly the target of an assassination attempt in Mumbai’s Juhu area on Sunday evening after three bike-borne assailants allegedly opened fire while the actor was leaving a football ground. The actor escaped unharmed, while his driver sustained injuries in the incident.
Shortly after the shooting, a video and audio message surfaced online featuring a man identifying himself as Anil Pandit and claiming to represent the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. In the message, he claimed responsibility for the attack and alleged that Shroff had previously been warned by the gang.
The purported audio message contained a direct threat towards members of the film industry. The individual can be heard saying: “Anyone in the film industry who works separately from us, or works with Salman Khan, we will kill him. And this is the first and last warning.” He further claimed, “We had called him and explained it to him but he did not understand, so today we explained it to him properly.”
The alleged claim of responsibility is likely to intensify concerns within the film industry, particularly given the long-running threats linked to Lawrence Bishnoi against Salman Khan. The gang’s message specifically referenced the Bollywood superstar while explaining the motive behind the attack.
