Laurence Fox charged with sexual offence after posting upskirt image of Narinder Kaur
Laurence Fox has been charged with a sexual offence after reposting a upskirt image of broadcaster Narinder Kaur, an invasive photograph taken without her consent more than 15 years ago.
Fox, 46, allegedly reposted the image on his X (formerly Twitter) account in April 2024, leading to an 11-month investigation by the Metropolitan Police. Kaur, 52, a regular panelist on ‘Jeremy Vine’ and a well-known broadcaster, reported the incident, prompting legal action under Section 66A of the Sexual Offences Act 2003. This law criminalises the intentional sharing of sexual images without consent, with the intent to cause distress, humiliation, or for sexual gratification.
Fox is set to appear at Westminster Magistrates’ Court on 24th April, where he is expected to enter a plea. If convicted, he faces up to two years in prison and potential placement on the Sex Offenders Register.

Speaking previously about the impact of the incident, the married mother of two, who first found fame on ‘Big Brother’, said she felt “violated, humiliated and degraded.”

In a powerful article for The Times, she wrote: “It’s like being assaulted every day, every time I tweet or go online, being called names again and again to the point where I come off social media altogether. He said the image was circulated in a WhatsApp group he was part of and that’s how he came by it. That made me feel sick. Every day I wake up and go to sleep horrified. It’s all because Laurence Fox and his gang of Merry Men decided I needed to be put in my place. I want it to go away, to disappear.”
