Lara Dutta in ‘Singh is Bliing’ a “welcome change”

Lara Dutta is ready rock the big screen once again and she will be seen in Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson starrer ‘Singh is Bliing’. The actress has said she appreciated that her role in the film was different to what she’s been known for.

“I play Imli, a translator with no fashion sense. It was quite a relief to go de-glam actually. I like to dress up otherwise like most other women, but this was a welcome change ��� I didn�۪t have to worry about how I was looking all the time,” said Dutta, according to Deccan Chronicle.

Talking about her roles in both ‘Azhar’ and ‘Fitoor’ too, Dutta divulged, “I play a lawyer in Azhar but my character is fictional, not based on anyone in particular. Fitoor is another beautiful film and it doesn�۪t matter to me whether or not I�۪m the lead.��After a point you just want to be a better actor, not prove a point”.

‘Singh is Bliing’ is slated for release on 2nd October.
