Katrina Kaif to join Salman Khan at closing ceremony of IFFI 2017

After Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif is the latest star to confirm her attendance at the closing ceremony of the International Film Festival of India in Goa.

She told Hindustan Times, “I look forward to being a part of IFFI. For me, it’s all the more special because it will be my first-ever visit. I’m happy to be a part of Asia’s oldest film festival, especially since it celebrates the ‘future of cinema’ this year.”

A source told the publication, “Katrina is also busy with her brand shoots and other professional commitments. However she will be taking time out from her schedule to lend her support to the film festival. She wants to lend her support to anything that will enhance the quality of cinema.”

Incidentally, both Khan and Kaif will be seen in ‘Tiger Zinda Hai’ out in December.
