Katrina Kaif: “Fitoor is one of most romantic stories I have ever heard”

Katrina Kaif stated that she always wanted to be a part of movie ‘Fitoor’ as she thinks that the story of this movie is one of the most romantic stories she ever heard.

In spite of the fact that many have read the Charles Dickens’ novel ‘Great Expectations’ on which it is based the movie will still be intriguing. Kaif told IANS, “I’ve read the book and I’ve seen the films that have been made on it. So when I got the script from Abhishek, I really just judged it on as an entirely new movie because most of the people who’ll see the film will probably not have read the book.”

“Honestly, I found it to be one of the most romantic stories I’ve ever heard and ever read. For me that was instantly where I wanted to be a part of it because I think everybody loves romance and passion. And this film just depicted it in a beautiful, classic way,” she added.

Not only number of television shows and plays has been made on this novel but since the ‘Great Expectations’ was first published in 1861 many films have been made on it.
