Katrina Kaif feels women-centric action films are the way to go

With female actors finally getting their due as being the main leads in films, Katrina Kaif feels there is yet a long way for women to go. In particular she feels, women will be able to hold up action films brilliantly.

“I believe, if we have the right kind of support, a woman-centric action film really works. It will be a complete transformation and something radical,” NDTV reported Kaif stating.

Having done a few action films herself, she told the media how she enjoys doing them and wants to get involved in many more. “I would love to do action films. I recently saw ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ (2015). When I saw that, I was telling Bosco (choreographer) that someone has to do something like this. I really wish to do something like this,” Kaif explained.

For the moment Kaif is in the midst of gearing up for her next release ‘Fitoor’. Also starring Aditya Roy Kapur and Tabu, the film is set to hit the big screens on 12th February.
