Kareena Kapoor Khan’s next to go on the floors in June

Kareena Kapoor Khan has confirmed that she will begin working on her next film in June.

The actress, who has been celebrating the success of ‘Ki & Ka’ has been approached by Ribhu Dasgupta for his next untitled thriller.

Talking to Mumbai Mirror, Khan admitted she had got more choosy about her upcoming films. She said, “Yes, I have become choosy and I don’t want to do films back-to-back. I will begin my next film around June and have been reading a lot of scripts. I am not insecure, and in no hurry either. I am content with where I am and have a large and diverse body of work behind me (Vishal Bhardwaj’s Omkara and Sudhir Mishra’s Chameli to Rohit Shetty’s Golmaal 3) and would love to play interesting characters.”

Talking about the film, Khan added, “She is excited to be playing a serious, deglam, independent woman who finds herself in the midst of chaos when things don’t go as planned. She will also be seen kicking and punching, it’s unlike anything Kareena has done before.”
