With her upcoming ‘Veere Di Wedding’ set for release next week, Kareena Kapoor Khan, has revealed that at the moment she only wants to focus on doing fun, big entertainers.

Having seen huge success with her last release ‘Udta Punjab’ (2016), the actress caught up with the media and explained how she wants to stay away from the serious genre of films for the moment. “I definitely want to do different kind of movies but it should be fun. It should be entertaining because people always feel that if I am in the film, it will be entertaining. So I always want to have that element in it,” Asian Age reports Kapoor Khan explaining.

She went on to add, “I have done serious films like Udta Punjab but I don’t want to do that for now, not for a bit. Not until it’s amazing. But I am happy doing fun entertaining films.”

Despite her current desire to do more fun films, the actress will still be open to reading different kinds of scripts, as she expressed, “I will have to do only one film at a time because shooting for three films is not an option at all. So, I am excited to do a movie and the producers will make an announcement soon once the cast is finalised.”

Set to release on 1st June, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ also stars Sonam Kapoor Ahuja, Swara Bhaskar, and Shikha Talsania.
