Kareena eager to be part of SLB’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’?

Kareena Kapoor Khan may not be in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s good books following walking out of his film ‘Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-leela’ (2013) which eventually went to Deepika Padukone. However, the latest reports are suggesting that this hasn’t stopped her from expressing that she wants to be leading lady in his next, ‘Bajirao Mastani’.

Apparently, Kapoor Khan has been turned down by Bhansali. He has, in fact, told Kapoor Khan that he is not able to offer her the female lead role but that he is able to consider her for the role of Kashibai, Bajirao’s first wife. Having said that, Priyanka Chopra’s name has also been a strong contender for that role. Bhansali is actually keen on casting Padukone once again in the lead role and more so now that Ranveer Singh is likely to bag the protagonist’s part.

Kapoor Khan has declined the role of Kashibai. Does this signify that there is still ill-feeling between her and Bhansali? Will he ever be comfortable to work with the actress again?
