Karan Johar to produce Sidharth Malhotra’s ‘Shershah’

Karan Johar is reportedly on board as producer of the much talked about Vikram Batra’s biopic starring Sidharth Malhotra.

Initially, it was supposed to be produced by Shabbir Boxwala and his Friday Cine Entertainment Private Limited team. Dharma Productions’ legal head, Rakhee Bajpai has issued a public notice saying that the film film has been acquired by Dharma Productions before anyone else claimed it.

A source told The Asian Age, “The film has also got a name now. It will be called Shershah, will be directed by Vishnu Vardhan and has been written by Sandeep Shrivastava. Dharma is now acquiring it from Friday Cine Entertainment Private Limited to produce, develop and distribute.”
