Kangna Ranaut awaits FIR copy to record statement

Kangna Ranaut is awaiting a copy of the FIR to record her statement in the ongoing spat with Hrithik Roshan.

Her lawyer Rizwan Siddiquee was cited in Times Of India said, “Despite innumerable requests, the police has failed to provide the copy of the FIR and other relevant documents which they are duty-bound to give to my client who is the concerned party.”

He explains, “The department needs to understand that we are not asking for any investigation report, but merely exercising our rights as has been provided for under the Statute. Why are they unnecessarily making this into citizens rights v/s police duties battle?”

He added, “Under these circumstances, it is not fair for my client to participate in any investigation whilst her own rights are being malafidely prejudiced by the police.”
