Bharti Patel joins ‘EastEnders’ cast for guest role

Bharti Patel, best known for her role as Ruhma Carter in the daytime series ‘Doctors’, is set to join the cast of ‘EastEnders’ for a short stint in a guest role. Patel will play Maya Houssain, a character who arrives in Walford and quickly strikes up an unlikely friendship with cabbie Harvey, bonding over their mutual love of football.

Fans of the show can look forward to Patel’s debut in the episode airing on Wednesday, 29th May. This new addition is sure to bring an exciting dynamic to the EastEnders storyline as Maya integrates into the bustling life of Walford.
