Kamal Haasan doing fine after treatment for food poisoning

Actor Kamal Haasan was recently admitted into hospital after suffering symptoms of food poisoning. The actor has now stated that he is fine and there is no need to be worked up about it.

“I know a lot of people would like to make a drama out of this. Sorry to disappoint them. I am fine. It�۪s just a simple case of food poisoning. No cause for alarm,” Zee News reported Haasan stating.

In the midst of shooting for his upcoming project in Kerela, Haasan went onto say how he may have caught the illness, “We were shooting in the interiors of Kerala where there were no proper restaurants. We ate at roadside dhabas, probably drank infected water. One of those makeshift food places did not agree with me. So here I am.”

Here’s hoping the actor will be a bit more careful on his next food venture, and it’s good to know he’s doing well.
