Kalki Koechlin brands Ranbir Kapoor as “brilliant” in ‘Bombay Velvet’

Kalki Koechlin has praised Ranbir Kapoor in Anurag Kashyap’s much talked about next ‘Bombay Velvet’.

The film, which co-produced by Koechlin’s ex-husband, Kashyap, hits cinemas next month. Kalki told PTI, “I have seen the film too. I loved it. It is a completely new way looking at Mumbai. It is the Mumbai of the 60s that’s shown in the film so recreation of the city, Ranbir’s performance is incredible, the songs, Anushka is playing a jazz singer in the movie… It was really moving. I enjoyed it.”

‘Bombay Velvet’ hits cinemas on Friday 15th May.
