Johnny Depp enjoys dinner at top Birmingham Indian restaurant

Hollywood star Johnny Depp made a surprise visit to one of the UK’s biggest Indian restaurants where he and his party spent the night dining on Sunday evening.

The actor, who last week won his highly-publicised defamation suit against ex-wife Amber Heard and was awarded £12 million, enjoyed the lavish feast at Varanasi in Birmingham.

Depp, 58, enjoyed the food so much that he left with a takeout bag after staying for around three-hours and meeting the manager’s friends and family.

Depp has been touring around Britain with musician Jeff Beck and, along with 20 others, booked out the restaurant, where he enjoyed cocktails, curry and Rosé Champagne.

The owners of the curry house said Depp left a “large tip” after booking out the entire 300-cover venue last night.
