Janhvi Kapoor has addressed long-standing speculation surrounding her appearance, offering a subtle confirmation about undergoing cosmetic procedures. Speaking candidly on the talk show ‘Two Much With Kajol and Twinkle’, Kapoor shared her thoughts on beauty standards, social media pressures, and the importance of transparency.
“I was one of the young girls who was very impressionable with the onset of social media and seeing everyone being judged to look a certain way,” she said. “I don’t want to perpetuate to young girls this idea of perfection. I’m a big believer in ‘you do you,’ do whatever makes you happy”.

Kapoor also revealed that she had the guidance of her late mother, Sridevi, in navigating these choices. She emphasised that her intention was never to promote unrealistic ideals, but rather to be open about her journey so others feel less alone in theirs.
