Jacqueline Fernandez to star in Amitabh Bachchan – Jackie Chan starer

Bollywood is going to taste a special blend of Indian and Chinese flavor as megastar Amitabh Bachchan and martial-arts expert Jackie Chan have been roped in for an Indo-Chinese project which will also see Jacqueline Fernandez in a pivotal role.

The reports were officially confirmed by the Sri Lankan beauty. When asked about the venture, the actress told PTI, “I am glad that I will be working with such legendary actors. The film will go on the floors in December this year. I can’t reveal more details at this moment.”

However, a source have given two major reasons behind Fernandez signing the film. “She was interested as soon as she knew that the project will be helmed by a popular Chinese director known for making action films. Although she will be cast opposite Abhay Deol, the fact that Bachchan and Chan are also part of it excited her,” said the source.

Meanwhile, Fernandez denied revealing the name of the director of the flick but the source said that the actress walked into the project even before the release of her last flick ‘Kick’ (2014), where she shared screen space with Salman Khan. “The makers were in India just before the release of Kick. They had signed her by then,” added the source.
