Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez recently revealed that she appreciates her role in bold filmlike ‘Murder 2’ (2011) as the Mohit Suri directorial opened doors for her in the filmindustry.

Fernandez told PTI, “I don’t regret doing a film like ‘Murder 2’. It was my first hit. I had the experience of working with Mohit. It opened lots of doors for me. It was a risk that I had taken but there is a beauty in taking risks,” said the actress who made her Bollywood debut in 2009 with ‘Aladin’.

“We as actors have nothing to lose. People will remember your performance and you get signed based on your performance. Not because your film is doing well or not. I want to stick to being diverse, not playing safe,” she added .

However, throwing some light on her current B-town ventures, Fernandez will next be spotted on screen opposite Ranbir Kapoor and Arjun Rampal in film ‘Roy’.Talking with about her first experience of working with Kapoor, the actress said, “When you meet Ranbir, he is quiet. I feel he is shy. Once we started shooting, I realised his energy is great. I feel like he is actually talking to me and not saying his dialogues that make me a better actress. For any actress, he is a dream to work.

‘Roy’ is slated for release on 13th February.
