Jackie Shroff, an actor who featured in Bollywood biggies in the 80s and 90s hasn’t had a significant release for a long time.��However, all��fans of Shroff will be happy to know that he’s making his grand comeback courtesy of Aditya Chopra.
BizAsia can reveal that Yash Raj Films has signed the actor for ‘Dhoom 3’.��Shroff will play a pivotal role in the action-packed third instalment of the popular��franchise. Shroff will share screen space with Aamir Khan in the film after a gap of 17 years. Their last release together was Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Rangeela’ (1995).
Shroff��will shoot for��ten days for the film, the shooting of which will take place this summer. The film officially went on the floors a few days back.
Reprising their roles as cops, Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra will be back in action in the film. Joining them will be Katrina Kaif, who in recent years has been seen in a slew of YRF projects. Sanjay Gadhvi, the original director of ‘Dhoom’ (2004) and ‘Dhoom 2’ (2006),��has been��replaced by Vijay Krishna Acharya.
The film hits theatres in summer 2013.
