Jackie Shroff’s talent, it sometimes can be said, has been overlooked for a few years. The actor’s presence in 2013’s ‘Dhoom 3’ put him back in the limelight somewhat. News is now suggesting that the actor is going to be part of an international project.
Shroff was recently in London where it is believed that he has meeting with producers for the project. “Language has never been an issue. Three years ago, I did a Tamil film, Aaranya Kadam, in which I played a ganglord. The film got two National Awards for Best Editing and Best First Film of a Director. It would be interesting to do an English film now,” said Shroff to Mumbai Mirror.
“After meeting me they’re really keen that I do the film. The producer told me that he thinks I am a ‘trans-Atlantic’ actor. It took me a few minutes to figure out what he meant by that”, he continued.
Shroff in under a confidentiality contract so will not be able to divulge anymore anytime soon.
