‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ joins 100 crore club in 5 days

We reported earlier this week that Yash Chopra’s final directorial, ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ (2012)��smashes the record previously set at the UK box office by ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ (2012). However, BizAsia has learnt that the film has now crossed the 100 crore mark in collective��worldwide and domestic collections.

Although the film may have suffered due to the closure of Mumbai following the death and the funeral of nationalist Bal Thackeray but the film has still kept strong. It is thought the film has seen a surge in some areas within the sub-continent which were quieter when it first released.

‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ has seen the highest collections ever for a film released during Diwali.
