Irrfan Khan rejects Hollywood film for ‘Piku’

Irrfan Khan has had to reject a Hollywood film as he is committed to Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’.

Indian TV News reports that Khan refused to do Ridley Scott�۪s ��The Martian�۪ that also stars Matt Damon. Talking about the decision, Khan said, “It was a lengthy, pivotal role (Ridely Scott’s ‘The Martian’) but I had already committed the dates to Shoojit Sircar for Piku”.

Talking further about ‘Piku’, which also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Deepika Padukone, he said, “It’s about two people who never imagine they’ll fall in love but are drawn to each other. Sometimes they feel the pull, sometimes they don’t. The emotions are delicate… madhur…natural.”
