India’s DNA snaps up K U Rao from Shell UK

Diligent Media, owners of DNA (Daily News & Analysis), has appointed K U Rao as CEO. Rao takes charge from today (4th October). He would be reporting to Managing Director Sudhir Agarwal. The development has been confirmed by Arup Gupta, HR Head of DNA.

DNA ’til now didn�۪t have the position of CEO.

Prior to this assignment, Rao was Global Head of Sales & Business Development for the car care business of Shell Lubricants, London. He has been with Shell for the last 12 years of his professional life.

Rao�۪s appointment is to further strengthen the business development initiatives of the one-year-old publication. DNA is in the process of issuing an official confirmation on the development later today.

DNA is an Indian daily newspaper owned by Diligent Media. A joint venture between two industry majors ��� the Dainik Bhaskar Group and ZEE Group.
