India ratings: Star Plus races ahead of rivals

Leading Hindi entertainment channel, Star Plus widened the gap between its rivals in latest India ratings supplied by BARC India for Week 47.

The channel registered 813 TVM (last week 796 TVM), followed by ZEE Anmol, which strengthened its position with (last week 719 TVM). It remained the most watched free-to-air Hindi entertainment channel. In third place was Colors with 714 TVM (last week 709 TVM), followed by ZEE TV with 633 TVM (last week 648 TVM). Star Utsav rounded off the Top 5 with 544 TVM (last week 519 TVM).

The next batch saw Life Ok at No.6, losing eyeballs with 458 TVM (last week 478 TVM), followed by Sony Entertainment Television Asia with 397 TVM (last week 389 TVM), SAB TV with 372 TVM (last week 357 TVM), Sony Pal with 316 TVM (last week 360 TVM) and Rishtey at No.10 with 284 TVM (last week 319 TVM).

In terms of shows, ‘Saathiya’ remained the most watched show on Hindi entertainment channels with 17 TVM (last week 16.3 TVM), followed by new show ‘Naagin’ with an impressive 16.7 TVM and ‘Kumkum Bhagya’ slipping to third with 14 TVM (last week 15.9 TVM).
