In Video: Trailer released for ‘Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1’

The trailer for ‘Kantara A Legend: Chapter 1’, the prequel to the 2022 film Kantara, has been released.

Written by Rishab Shetty, Anirudh Mahesh and Shanil Guru, the film is set in the 4th Century AD during the Kadamba dynasty and explores the origins of the mystical land of Kantara and Kaadubettu Shiva.

The film stars Rishab Shetty, Gulshan Devaiah, Jayaram and Rukmini Vasanth. Produced by Hombale Films, it features music by B. Ajaneesh Loknath and cinematography by Arvind S. Kashyap.

Punjabi singer Diljit Dosanjh has lent his voice to a song in the trailer, which has been widely shared online. The film is scheduled to release in seven languages; Kannada, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Bengali and English.
