Imtiaz Ali signs SRK & Anushka Sharma?

For some time now, there has been news that Shah Rukh Khan is being considered for Imtiaz Ali’s upcoming film.�� As previously reported by BizAsia, Khan has confirmed that he is in talks with the director. The latest on the speculated project is that Anushka Sharma has been roped in opposite Khan.

The film is said to be high on comedy and will apparently be shot in both Punjab and London.

It can be noted that Sharma was rumoured to be in two projects Ali has previously directed: ‘Rockstar’ (2011) and ‘Tamasha’ (2015), though they eventually went on floors with different actresses.

Should this project materialise with Khan and Sharma, it will be the duo’s third film together, following Aditya Chopra’s ‘Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi’ (2008) and Yash Chopra’s ‘Jab Tak Hai Jaan’ (2012).
