Imran Khan’s wife Avantika struck down with dengue

After Ranveer Singh’s recent much publicised illness, it’s now, Imran Khan’s wife Avantika Malik’s turn to recover from dengue.

Instead of being rushed to hospital, Malik rested at the couple’s Bandra home. She is said to be have contracted the fever and was suffering for almost four days but said to be stable.

Says Khan, ���We were lucky as it wasn’t anything major. She got a fever last week and we thought it was a regular viral. Later, it was diagnosed as dengue.�۝

Khan is currently in the midst of promotions of his upcoming film ‘Gori Tere Pyaar Mein’ with Kareena Kapoor.
