Hum News to replace Hum Masala on Sky in UK this week
Hum TV Network has confirmed that Hum Masala will be removed from the Sky EPG in the UK, making way for the return of Hum News.
Hum Masala, a hybrid channel offering a mix of culinary programming and re‑runs from Hum TV’s fiction slate, has faced persistent challenges despite several schedule overhauls and attempts at repositioning. The service struggled to hold its ground against competing broadcasters, prompting the network to reassess its UK strategy.
Hum News, which first launched in the UK in July 2018 before its linear service was discontinued in March 2021, is now set for a comeback. The channel will officially reappear on British screens from Wednesday 7th January, broadcasting on Sky channel 732 and Sky Glass 720.
