Hitting TV screens on Sunday 13th February, director par excellence Karan Johar makes his television debut as host of the exciting new chat show ? Koffee with Karan where he will gather Bollywood’s most interesting pairs. Every guest on the show has one thing in common ? they are all friends of Karan Johar!
Airing every Sunday at 21:00 on STAR Plus, Koffee with Karan promises a double blend of entertainment. Join in the stimulating t?te-?-t?te with the flamboyant director and his high-profile friends. Every episode features a unique and sometimes controversial ?celeb-combo?, two of Karan?s star friends exchanging stimulating conversation for 60 minutes of unadulterated banter, providing an excellent insight to the world of Bollywood celebrity.
As Karan Johar puts it, ?Ever since I can remember? I always wanted to host a talk show. I wanted to interview two people instead of one, more of a two on one. It?s great that STAR gave me my own show. Since I share a close personal relationship with my guests, I had to strike a balance between being over cautious and over friendly. But the whole vibe of the show is fun and exciting!?
Sharing a special chemistry with all his guests, Karan uncovers the most interesting, wacky, weird and private facets of these superstars, over a cup of coffee. Some of the ?celeb-combo? includes Shahrukh and Kajol; Rani Mukherjee and Kareena Kapoor; Sanjay Dutt and Sushmita Sen; Saif and Preity; Gauri Khan and Suzanne Roshan, Aishwarya and Sanjay Leela Bansali.
Apart from uncovering the ?other side? of his guests, the show also features a host of unique elements such as the rapid fire round that reveals a lot of tongue-in-cheek moments like when Kareena is asked to choose between Shahid and Shah Rukh and Rani asked to choose between Yash Chopra and Sanjay Leela Bansali.
