‘Heroine’ takes its toll on Kareena Kapoor’s health

Kareena Kapoor, it seems, is giving her all to Madhur Bhandarkar’s forthcoming ‘Heroine’ in which she plays the lead. The actress is so dedicated to her work for the film that she has fallen ill.

Kapoor is said to be giving the project all her time and energy. As reported by NDTV,��a source has confirmed that owing to a particularly emotionally draining scene that had been shot, Kapoor was feeling under the weather the day after and was down with a very sore throat. The scene required much yelling and this, indeed, took its toll on the actress’s health.

Bhandarkar has gone on record to say that the film will be the best of Kapoor’s career and is a role of a lifetime for her. Arjun Rampal stars opposite Kapoor in the movie which is slated for release in September.
