Farhan Akhtar: “I am a mad elephant”

Farhan Akhtar - Wazir - 340x

Farhan Akhtar dubbed himself a ‘mad elephant’ when it comes to the chess piece. He, however, clarified his stands about himself saying such focus is extremely important for executing something good.

According to NDTV, Akhtar said, “I’d probably just see myself as the mad elephant because that kind of focus to do something good is very important,”

The focus he was talking about was the linear movement of the elephant in the game of chess. Explaining over the kind of focus he was talking about, he said, “What is asked of you most importantly is your time, honesty and sincerity.”

“That’s all we can offer as actors to a director and a producer and to be straight up with them and be honest_ to give it our best shot and to lose ourselves in it. And be so focused that nothing else really matters at that point,” he added.

Akhtar is playing the role of an ATS officer in ‘Wazir’ where Amitabh Bachchan is his co-star.

‘Wazir’ is scheduled for a 8th January 2016 release.
