Farah Khan keen to foray into digital space

With online streaming taking the world by storm, more big names from the silver screen keen to explore the digital space. One big name who has yet to take the plunge is Farah Khan. Though she has yet to make that move, Khan is keeping the option in mind.

“I love the digital space and sometime later, I will make something for that platform. It is a great time for content makers,” The Asian Age reports the film maker expressing.

She went on to add, “So, if you are a good actor and you haven’t got your due, then there is enough space on this platform.”

Having been a part of the Indian film industry for over 25 years, Khan spoke about how the industry and star statuses are changing. “What is happening is that the bad films of stars are not working but still, the star is drawing in the crowd. It is very hasty to say that the star system is fading though there is a new order coming in,” she said.

She went on to say, “If a movie is not good, they are not accepting it. Even then, their films will make a certain amount of money like Aamir Khan’s film will still make 50 crore on the first day. So that is the star power.”

In the meantime, it has been said that Khan is currently in the midst of working on a script, which has been speculated to be the remake of ‘Satte Pe Satta’ (1982).
