‘Extreme Makeover’ to launch on Imagine Dil Se

The Indian adaptation of international reality TV show, ‘Extreme Makeover’ is expected to make its launch on Imagine TV in the coming weeks.

Its not the first time the show is being aired in India. It was originally known as ‘Naya Roop Nayi Zindagi’ when it was aired on Sony Entertainment Television Asia in 2008. It will now move channels to Imagine TV. It is expected to air during the summer this year.

A source told TellyChakkar, “100 girls with genuine cases related to their beauty will be selected out of which 14 will be on the show. These girls will get a chance to go through a complete make-over. They can select the kind of look they want and will be given that. The stylist and beauticians from abroad will work on it. A big brand is sponsoring the stylists and beauticians. The shooting will be just a 10- day affair in which the makeover will be done in just three days.”

The show will be hosted by Lara Dutta, with inputs from fashion designer Manish Malhotra.
