Ehan Bhat to join AR Rahman on ‘The Voice’

Music legend AR Rahman is making every effort to ensure Ehan Bhat gets the best debut. The newcomer is playing the lead in his upcoming production, ’99 Songs’. Bhat will be seen on Star Plus’s show ‘The Voice’ as a special guest tonight.

During the filming, Bhat had a great time on the set and saw some great performances by the contestants. He also was seen spending time with them backstage and getting to know a little about what goes into a live performance on the reality show. The budding talent himself took to the stage with his mentor and performed the tunes of ’99 Songs’.

Watching the performances on the sets also got him nostalgic about his own experience while shooting for the film. Bhat shared how he was preparing extensively to portray a musician on the screen which was very difficult and for which he underwent extensive piano training at the KM Music Conservatory for a year. Bhat would be seen sharing the stage with Rahman.

Bhat said, “I had a great time on the show and watching the live performances on the sets got me nostalgic. It reminded me of the time when I started my training to play the lead character in 99 Songs. Being a musician isn’t easy but playing one is even hard”. The actor also met Adnan Sami, Armaan Malik and others where he expressed how he is so inclined towards music after his training.

Rahman said in a statement, “Its the semi-finale of The Voice and catch Ehan and I, on the show tonight.”
