Diljit Dosanjh & Amar Singh Chamkila miss out on International Emmy Awards
India’s hopes at the International Emmy Awards were dashed on Monday as Diljit Dosanjh’s Amar Singh Chamkila failed to secure wins in either of its nominated categories.
Dosanjh had been nominated in the Best Actor category, while the Netflix film itself was shortlisted for Best TV Movie/Mini‑Series. Despite strong anticipation, both nominations went unrewarded, leaving India without a trophy at this year’s ceremony.
