Deepika Padukone’s next rumoured to be inspired by Hollywood thriller?

As lockdown rules slowly begin to relax, filmmakers are beginning to get back to location and get their cameras rolling. One such filmmaker is Shakun Batra who has flown his cast, Deepika Padukone and Siddhant Chaturdevi to Goa to start shooting for their forthcoming thriller. Rumour has it that the project has been inspired by another famous Hollywood film.

According to Times of India, Batra has taken influence from Woody Allen’s ‘Match Point’ (2005). A source close to the project was reported stating, “While this film will be individualistic in its own way, Shakun’s love triangle is a lot like the Hollywood psychological thriller starring Scarlett Johansson.”

Also starring Ananya Panday, the film is yet to be christened with a title.
