Deepika Padukone not keen to romance Vicky Kaushal?

With news aplenty surrounding Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next ‘Padmavati’, Deepika Padukone reportedly turned down the romance scenes opposite Vicky Kaushal.

According to PinkVilla, Kaushal was to play Rani Padmavati’s husband Raja Rawal Ratan Singh in the film. On discovering this, Padukone objected to this due to some intense lovemaking scenes. The report adds that she wanted a bigger star as her hero.

“A random actor won’t do for her. While she has no scenes with Ranveer, the role of Rawal Singh (her husband) has to be at par. Otherwise, the story won’t work,” the report further said.

Apparently, Padukone does not have any such romantic scenes with her real-life beau Ranveer Singh, who plays Sultan Alauddin Khilji – an obsessed lover in the film.
