Deepika Padukone: “I do not hide anything from my parents”

The beautiful Deepika Padukone will be seen in her forthcoming film ‘Piku’ as Amitabh Bachchan’s daughter. Recently, the actress spoke about her equation with her own parents, saying she has no secrets from them.

According to Deccan Chronicle, the actress said, “My father and I share an emotional as well as friendly relationship. I can discuss everything with him. Although our relationship is very frank, we as children need to respect and obey them. Neither the father nor the daughter can obviously see the other in pain. I do not hide anything from my parents, and that is the respect I have for both of them. In the future, if my children decide to hide anything from me, I will feel sad.”

She also spoke about playing a Bengali girl in ‘Piku’, which is directed by Shoojit Sircar, “I speak a little Bengali in the film. In real life, I speak English most of the time while conversing with my family. I speak a little bit of Konkani too.”

‘Piku’ releases on 8th May and also stars Irrfan Khan.
