Deepika Padukone argues over ‘Piku’ trailer?

The beautiful and successful Deepika Padukone has proven that she’s not just a pretty face. The actress, whose next film ‘Piku’ will see her star with Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, suggested an innovative idea for the launch of the trailer. It will be a first for Bollywood and it will be all about an argument.

A source spoke to DNA India, “For the first time ever, the star-cast of the film Amitabh Bachchan and Irrfan Khan, along with Deepika will be seen indulging in an argument over the film’s trailer”.

“It was during one of the creative meetings where the cast was brainstorming that Deepika suggested that they do the same in the promo. Everyone present agreed it was a great idea for the cast to discuss whether the trailer is up to the mark or not, in the getup of their characters. After everyone gave the idea a thumbs up, director Shoojit developed it further,” continued the source.

Director Shoojit Sircar also confirmed, “Yes, Deepika happened to bounce the idea off us and we loved it immediately because it was unlike other conventional teasers. The team further worked on the idea and we are very excited to see the way the audience reacts to it”.

The film’s trailer will be attached to ‘Detective Byomkesh Bakshy!’ which releases on 3rd April.
