Club Asia announce its own awards

Club Asia has announced its first ever yearly awards, Amazing Asians 2005 sponsored by Talk Smart. The awards aim to highlight those individuals that have made a significant impact in all fields from community, politics, entertainment or sport in the UK within the past year.

Sumerah Ahmad, Co-founder and Creative Director of Club Asia 963+972AM explains why an award of this type was selected, “Club Asia is a station that reflects the lifestyle of Asians living in the UK. Therefore we feel the awards are a natural and important progression for Club Asia to draw attention to the diverse achievements of so many Asians in the country who are doing truly incredible things with their lives. The Amazing Asians Awards 2005 seek to highlight role models for future generations to come.”

The Amazing Asians Awards is being sponsored by Talk Smart. The company, founded 10 years ago by two young brothers Del and Harry Sondh, an inspiration themselves for young Asians say “The success of our company has reflected the success of hundreds of Asian companies around the country. The time has come to recognize those endeavors and we are proud to join with Club Asia Radio in saying “well done” to the whole community”

Biz Asia will bring the full list of nominees for the first ever Amazing Asians Awards next Monday (10th October).
