David Dhawan’s directorial comeback ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’, starring Varun Dhawan, Mrunal Thakur, and Pooja Hegde, has officially been postponed. Originally slated for release in April 2026, the romantic comedy will now hit cinemas on 5th June 2026.
The announcement was made via Instagram, where the producers shared, “Drama bhi hona hai, comedy bhi — kyunki jab ‘Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai’ in cinemas on 5th June 2026.” The film marks Dhawan’s return to the genre he helped define, and fans can expect his signature blend of humour and heart when the film arrives in theatres next summer.
